Weather

Mostly overcast skies, clearing by 16:30. Snow throughout the day w/ periods of S3 and graupel. An intense burst of snow for an hour around 13:00, likely w/ front passage. Moderate wind veering from W-NNW w/ strong gusts. Moderate blowing snow.

Snowpack

Observed large plumes of blowing snow on ridge tops of Mt Emmons, Mt Baldy, Gothic, and White Rock Mtn just before sunset. Saw ripples and obvious wind texturing from a distance on many slopes above TL.
