Weather
Storm snow accumulated quickly. Last measured HST was 37cm @ 14:30, but snowfall intensified later in the PM. Moderate to heavy snowfall (S2-S5). Winds trended from Light SW in the AM to Moderate WSW by afternoon.
Snowpack
Upper 50-60cm of snowpack is storm snow since 12/20. Mostly very soft and uncohesive. No cracking or collapsing observed below treeline.
Avalanche
Some minor skier triggered sluffing on steep SW slopes below treeline in the afternoon. Not long-running. More significant natural point releases late afternoon in The Ledges on Hwy 550.
