Hasler

Rode a loop in Hasler. Amazing country! Mostly deep light powder snow other than around exposed ridges at the upper end of tree line. We saw several storm and wind slab avalanches to size 2 that had run in steep features at tree line and in the alpine. These would have happened within the past 24-36 hours. There have definitely been windslabs building with lots of new snow available for transport and recent southwest and northwest winds. We avoided any steep areas with thin snowpack where triggering a deeper buried weak layer may be more likely.
