Weather

We noticed about 1-2" of fresh since Wed(?). No wind at all today.

Snowpack

And any effects from a wind event on Thurs/night didn't seem obvious at first down low. Snow filled trees and soft snow all around us. Mid mountain open areas were obviously hit by the wind. We were breaking through wind slabs on the skin track up. Hollow snowpack in some of these wind effected areas. Isolated some snow columns mostly related to fresh snow-16-24" in Marble bowl. That sat on some faceted snow but seemed to be bridging well. North facing shots had no signs of wind effect at all. Snow felt very good other than some sugary snow right at ridge line obviously effected by sun and wind.

I think south east facing, got a small sluff to run a short distance.
