Weather
High thin clouds and a little wind helped keep temps somewhat cooler today. Winds were just enough to drift a tiny bit of new snow, but not any new loading. At times it got quite warm, especially below treeline where winds did not keep surface cool, but still, not a wetting problem.
Snowpack
Snow pack stayed cool on all aspects near and above treeline. Below treeline we saw a couple spots were we could find free water in the very upper layers. It was not percolating much more than 5 to 10 cm into the pack though.
Avalanche
Way in the distance up Mineral Creek, probably ran during Sunday night/Monday ind event. Appears to have been triggered by a really large cornice fall. Ran a long distance over a couple cliff bands, in a very steep path, hard to tell if entrained deeper snowpack
