Crown line observed from the top of Quandary. 2 skiers descended an east facing low angle snow field to a steep couloir. 39.4120, -106.1231 Skier one triggered a R3D1 on the convexity at the top of the couloir. We were unable to ID what type of slide this was, but can rule out loose wet. I'm suspect it was wind slab. The skiers re-ascended to the peak and bailed. Lucky day!
