Locomotive

A bit of snow at railroad pass on the hurley. We walked about 25min up the semaphore trail before switching to skinning. Difficult below 1500m, great above. Lots of point releases triggering size 1s from steep east facing terrain on the train glacier. We skinned up the south side of Locomotive to gain the ridge where the wind was strong from the north. Some windslabs forming (and cracking) on the lee side of the ridge. Cold and windy up high!
