Day was variable clouds turning to overcast with snow in the late afternoon. No wind in the valley, strong winds at Ridge top from the west

Variable in the alpine. Isolated wind slabs, wind crusts, deep powder. Wind slabs ranged from an inch up to 6 inches thick. Multiple inconsistent crusts throughout snowpack. Treeline and below very nice riding. Good coverage given how much snow we've had this season. Fluffy!
