Dust on Crust

Riding conditions were not that fun today - it's kind of "dust on crust" conditions out there with about 3cm of new snow over a variably thick sun/temperature crust left over from the warm days this week. High elevation north facing slopes still have some powder but are quite wind affected as well. We saw no signs of recent avalanches and experienced no signs of instability out there today. It was still snowing about 1cm per hour when we left the mountain this afternoon so we are keeping our fingers crossed it keeps adding up overnight and the sledding quality improves!
