New snow is very supportive overall, but sitting on large facets and a crust layer in many places. Steep scree slopes had several areas with decent sluffing, but no slab slides we could see. What sounded to be several larger slides from higher up to the north of crowfoot glacier could be heard however. Weather was a few degrees below zero with light flurries and wind gusts from the south.
