Fantastic riding in the Whitewater backcountry. We kept it mellow, riding open tree hallways and (trying) to stay away from steeper convexities. One rider went for a short ride after popping a side 1 storm slab (see incident).

Rider cut above a steeper convexity in open trees and triggered a size one storm slab (see photos). Rider rode the slide on their butt for a few meters before stopping, with no consequences. Slide ran for about 30m. Crown was about 20cm/30cm deep.
