Recent 1’ snow fall turned to rain and transformed the nice powder to a soft wet heavy layer. We climbed into the alpine with hopes to find cooler temps and less set up snow with no luck. This new wet snow layer was not bonded to existing layers and was very easily triggered. The terrain we chose to ride and purposely sled cut allowed us to visualize and understand several size 1 avalanches. A huge potential to see size 2,3 depending on your terrain choices. 0deg bass +5 alpine Ride safe!
