Triggered class 1 avy in open treed area, propagated about 20m wide 50 cm depth ran for about 10 meters. Was able to ski out of it. Site of incident was open trees with some minor supporting regen. Noted significant natural slab avys on steeper slopes in the area. Some whumphing was heard the day prior in this area.
