West Nile Alpine & Glades

Left truck at 9:45 AM with overcast, -7 C and negligible wind in the valley. Moved up on to main Avi path - lower elevations skied up with hard pack. Above the TL - no visible tracks and a 10 mph W / SW wind moving snow around. Snow showers all day with about a total accumulation of 5 cm. Not much for hard wind slab but certainly pockets of fresh wind deposits. Skied down for 250 m. Back up to above TL into Alpine. Continued to snow shower with 10 mph stead breeze moving snow around. Dug a pit in the Alpine - CT19 at ~ 70-80 cms - settlement on the Feb 1 sun crust. Unable to get it to slide. Skied the line down into the north Avi path to the valley / truck. Less tracks lower down on this one. -5C and continuing to snow shower and cloudy back at truck. 2 PM.
