We experienced whumphing while touring up towards the peak to dig our snow pit we had a few layers of concern and stuck to mellow terrain

We had a few layers react in our compression tests CTE 3-6 down 12cm (storm snow interface) CTM 10-12 Down 32cm this layer also reacted in our ECTH24 all the way across. This information was what we figured we would see in our snowpack after reading the bulletin this morning
