Weather

Light snow during the morning turned partly cloudy by late AM through the afternoon. Winds were swirling about 20 mph with gusts near 30-35 mph and drifting plenty of new snow around. Initially cold but warmed up by mid-day.

Snowpack

10-12" of new snow. Probed down to ground and did not feel any very stiff layers in the snowpack. Could tell there were a few crust layers beneath the new snow. Snow surfaces stayed cold for the most part.

Avalanche

Did not observe any avalanches, but visibility was limited because of wind/fog/drifting snow.
