Weather
mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine peaking through the clouds and canopy. less than moderate winds with occasional gusts upwards of 15 mph. all of which stayed consistent from trailhead to top of tour. Ending around 11,400 ft
Snowpack
roughly 3-5 inches of new snow on a Surface Hoar, probably from a lack of snowfall and heavy sun exposure. possible layer of instability with new snow coming in, we shall see. Dug a pit found possible rounding of old weak facets closer to the ground. signs of increasing stability possibly? A largely consolidated slab on top of the 12/10 seems to stay relatively consistent. Again NWW aspect, URAD Valley near Jones Pass at 11,200 ft
