Spent the weekend at 5040, snow cover is very low and if you can clear the ruts at km 4 it was possible to drive to the trailhead in a stock SUV on friday the 15th. As of the afternoon of the 17th the road is completely dry to the heli staging area. skinable snow cover starts ~100 m below the lake. There are lots of exposed hazards and we noted the remnants of many size <0.5 wet loose slides off of steep features solar features. We had a great time skiing steep gully features on spring like snow above 1400 m.
