Weather

Clouds increased during the late morning into the early afternoon. Occasional snow showers with no accumulation while I was in the field.

Snowpack

Where I dug on a NW aspect at about 11800 feet, the snowpack was deep (HS 330cm) and showed no signs of instability. Aside from a melt-freeze crust at the surface, the snowpack showed little evidence of any significant warming, with snow temperatures around -5C. See snow pit profile for more detail.
