Lots of snow and no bugs at Baker Lake

Alicja and I spent the night at Baker lake on Canada day. Snow free travel most of the way to boulder pass with a bit more snow between Ptarmigan Lake and Baker Lake. We managed to stay relatively dry in our trail runners in and out.
Lots of snow around Baker lake campsite with dry camping pads except for the one we had to dig out. Deception pass is also manageable if you link up dry spots.

As many have reported - it's still winter up in the alpine and the bugs are still at bay.
