Partly cloudy and warm. Light south breeze.
Snowpack
Paths along the corridor continue to lose volume with warm temperatures and increasingly strong sun. Southerly paths are mostly melted out, with a few exceptions (White Lizard, Baker). Other paths continue to hold snow, but are becoming less of a concern with repeated melt/freeze cycles and drainage established. The snowpack in the paths south of town continues to be the weakest with 25cm+ of moist facets at the bottom. However, the areas of greatest concern have mostly already run. Small slides remain possible.
Avalanche
Some small wet loose slides ran from the steep Scotch Creek cut bank and put debris in the northbound lane around midnight last night (3/15/20).
