Warm and sunny with a decently cool breeze at ridgetop or in open terrain.

Snowpack

Most surfaces were heavily wind-affected and hard. Wind-etched and old hard drifts littered the landscape. Lots of snow has been lost in the alpine from strong winds this month. Steeper southerly slopes had a decent crust in the morning that turned soft later in the day. Trap-door conditions were starting to spring up below treeline in thinner snow cover areas.
