Weather

Scattered high clouds with calm to light winds from the South.

Snowpack

Scoured to the ground in the high alpine and loaded into the gully features. Warm wet snow on southerly aspects, cold dry snow on Northerly above treeline. Below treeline snow was thin but passable.

Avalanche

HS-N-R2-D1.5 on an East aspect around 12,800ft. I suspect this ran during the wind event. Most of the snow above this slide was scoured and loaded onto the slope that slid. HS adjacent to the path was about 100cm. 30-50cm crown that broke through the rock band and ran a short distance
