BKN to OVC skies with low light due to late in the day. Air Temp ranged from 15-5?F throughout the tour. No precipitation. Calm Winds.
Snowpack
At 11,885 on the north slope of gold hill 18? slope at 53? (NE) See attached SnowPilot. The HS remains low in this area with only 50-70cm across the slope. Ski pen was consistent with recent storm snow ~15cm, and varied more deeply with inconsistent slab ~13-20cm below the snow surface. Digging revealed new snow over multiple old snow layers - facets on top of DH underneath the new snow. Mid layers had begun to round slightly. Shovel tilt. CT, and ECT appear to indicate that new snow was bonding reasonably well to the older snow surface in this area.
