Weather
Calm winds and mostly clear skies. Temperatures were already above freezing by 11 am, and look to top out at around 40 degrees on the passes.
Snowpack
Paths with a southerly tilt, like Henry Brown, the Engineers, and East Lime have lost a fair bit of volume since our last storm, HS is around a foot. I found the top 10 cm to be wet melt forms, with moist rounds below that. Shadier slopes had a more concerning structure. West Lime has an HS of around 40 cm. The top 10 cm is a wind slab formed during our last storm. This layer is faceting and losing strength, hardness was 1f-. Below this were 2mm, 4f- facets to the ground. The coverage was variable across the slope, the looker's right side was stripped back to talus in many areas, the left side had some drifted pillows and a bit of a stouter slab. The paths in the Champion group have around a foot of mostly faceted 4f-hard snow.
