Spent 3 days (24-26th) camping and skiing out in the silvern lakes area. On the ride in we observed a couple natural size 1 slides all on steep alpine terrain on eastern aspects that were quite recent. We found 25+cm of blower powder on western and northern aspects sitting on top of the january crust, Made for some wicked skiing. Eastern slopes were moderately wind affected and had large cornices overhead that we avoided diligently. Primarily skied TL-BTL but made a couple runs up to the alpine and didnt encounter any slab problems from the recent storm in any terrain. On the traverse out towards toboggan creek in the morning we observed quite a bit of surface hoar until we got down to about 1300m.
