Calm and mild (-5) day with low cloud and terrible vis. Rode the SE slope from Sherpa Peak down into Qua basin. Large surface hoar visible in some open areas and clear sun affect on south facing slopes and some shedding from south facing trees. Some sluffing as we rode down, but no signs of deeper instability. Hiked back up to the ridge line and dropped back into resort to ride through Trash. A natural size 1 had occurred on the north facing chute we chose as our route down, unsure of when it might have happened. NOTE: Someone has bootpacked the skin track up to the ridgeline. There's some sizeable holes to scoot over. Until the snow has filled them back in, it would potentially be faster to head up the skintrack from Catch Basin skiway and backtrack along the ridgetop.
