Sunny and very windy from the SSW.
Snowpack
Strong southerly winds were busy redistributing any available snow, though not sure much of the snow was landing. Lots of strong gusts and sublimation. There are likely thin wind slabs on northerly slopes near and above tl, adding yet another reason to avoid those slopes. The snowpack where we traveled today was generally thinner than we have seen around the zone (hs~50). Sunny slopes had 2-4 cm surface crusts sitting on decomposing storm snow/small facets sitting on another crust and large basal facets. Isolated cracking and collapsing observed off skin track.
