Snowpack

Toured around the "Gem" today, overcast with 15-20cm of storm snow on the ground and light winds out of the west/southwest. No avalanches were seen or triggered. 1 to 2 small collapse's observed throughout the tour, minimal shooting cracks. A few expedient holes confirmed a shity crust layer buried approximately 60cm beneath the surface, recent storm snow was unconsolidated. We skied an East aspect of 30+ degrees at 9800ft.
