Cold day with a light westerly breeze occasionally moving some snow along the valley floor. On and off sunshine throughout the day.
Snowpack
The weak layer of concern here was about 30cm up from the ground. The entire snowpack is showing signs of faceting but the slab is still cohesive with and about 4F to 1F hard (on the hand hardness scale). The depth hoar right at the 30cm mark is the most well-developed depth hoar I've observed yet this season.
