Wx was slightly cooler and windier than expected but not by much. Tair taken around 1200 was -8C. Sky was SCT, no precip, L wind from the NW
Snowpack
Dug a pit on a W aspect. HS was 101cm. Found rounding facets in the top 12cm, a small layer of rounded grains, and then faceted grains the rest of the day down. The interface of facets and depth hoar was at 36cm up from the ground. Tsurf was -12.5C. All 1F or less. Instability tests: CT12 SC 95 cm up from the ground, ECTX, and PST 81/100END 60 cm up from the ground.
Avalanche
None observed but yesterday we observed bare ground, roller balls, and active rock fall on directly south slopes BTL on Fremont Pass
