Weather

sunny, warm and calm

Snowpack

on our tour most snow felt very consolidated. Cold aspects had 10-20 cm of pow and surface hoar on top of the consoladated base. High solar aspects harbored a bit of pow over some thin crusts, but held on all day without too much warming. Low solar was sun crusted. we dug a pit on a NNE slope at 12,000ft, HS 230cm, results were CT12, ECT24 50cm down with clean / planar fractures on NSFs slab was 4f.

Avalanche

Saw 4 <week old natrual windslab avalanches ranging from NW to E at 11-12,000ft
