Weather

NE below tree line - not as windy as higher elevations definitely observed some drifting snow on mountain tops at higher elevation. Mostly blue sky early morning with some scattered clouds, but got more cloudy around noon and then the sun came out and created allot of warmth in the wind sheltered areas below tree line.

Snowpack

Dug a snow pit - CT 27 Noticed a lot of faceted snow towards the base. Witnessed some wind crust on the snow as we were leaving
