Weather
High clouds moved in around noon ahead of the storm so temps were cooler than Friday. Winds were calm.
Snowpack
Lots of surface hoar and near surface facets on North facing slopes. South facing slopes had 2-3mm melt freeze crust due to intense solar in the last few days. Column test failed sudden planar in hard loading steps on buried surface hoar layer about 60cms down. ECT failed on the same layer but did not propogate since the slab has faceted away. Ski quality was good but today's surface is concerning since it looks to be tomorrow's buried weak layer.
