Snowpack
Near the East River valley floor, below the recent inversion levels, the snowpack is shallow, wind-battered and weak. Slabs below the influence of inversions were not reactive on northeast, east, south or southwest aspects. A little higher, above the East River Valley's cold sink, the snowpack changed dramatically, to a widespread slab over weak layer structure. Test results were uniformly hard, but sudden, indicating a stubborn sensitivity.
