Clear little wind temps in the teens. East facing approx 12000 feet

Deep wind loaded slab in the lee of a 10-20' cornice

Avalanche

Small surface slough precipitated by cornice fall. Just beginning to explore this drainage via snowmobile access for backcountry skiing. Have been observing the wind loading wondering when the slabs might release.
