Avalanche

12,100’ down to 11,700’. Crown 3-8’ tall, 250’ wide. East facing slope. Skier breaking trail was halfway up the slope when snow under him dropped with a whumph, triggering the whole slope to slide. Ridge at crown appears to be well loaded from SW flowing recent storm.
