Champagne Hoar

The reports of surface hoar and super hot temperatures are true. Surface hoar to 10 mm observed in lower elevation(>1900m) shaded areas. I presume this was the top of the valley fog in the area. Feild obs. of +2 degrees at 2100m at noon today. Pinwheeling observed near rock outcrops and alpine southern facing slopes.
