Crusty snow surface below treeline, lots of wind scouring and loading on ridgelines. Softer, drier snow on E aspects at higher elevations. Wind slabs forming

Avalanche

Cronin Peak- NE chute. Triggered at ~13500, propagated into the next chute, and ran about 1000’ into the flats. ~6-12” slab
