Weather

Mostly cloudy, lightly snowing on and off, no wind, warm. Sky broke as we left around 15:00

Snowpack

5" storm snow sitting on top of melt freeze crust. Storm snow was not showing signs of cohesion, and it was poorly bonded to crust below. Height of snow was about 150-200 cm throughout the zone. Pits showed moist/wet grains down to at least 100cm.
