There is 50-60 cm of snow above 2200 m in the Bow Summit area. The snowpack is remarkably strong, and travel is easy with no breaking through and easy track setting. No new avalanches observed. I suspect the only place to worry right now would be in steep, alpine gullies where there is localized wind loading. Ski quality was quite good, but certainly lots or rocks and other hazards lurking. Nice to see such a good snowpack, so early. There is no snow below 2000 m really.
