A couple of friends and I had grand plans on try to climb Mt Sifton today, but pulled the pin at the col between Mt Sifton and Little Sifton, mainly due to concerns about windslabs. Ongoing probing showed the recently formed windslabs were definitely settling and bonding, but there was evidence of a lot of recent wind and crossloading, and it seemed too early to push up into such serious terrain. As a consolation prize we settled for Little Sifton and a fantastic run back down into Connaught Creek.
