Temperature not taken. - Dream Lake, Approximately 12:00. SE aspect, 10000. Broken sky. Winds moderate gusting to strong. No precip. Temperature not taken. Visible wind transport at ridgeline above the Tyndall Glacier headwall and along dream lake.

SE aspect, 10000ft. - Boot penetration 40cm - Ski penetration 10cm - HS - 152cm (wind deposition common here) - Layer of concern - 10cm finger hard wind slab over 6cm fist layer - Layer of concern - 5cm wet basal facets over a water source Dream Lake 13:00, 10100 SE aspect - HS - 130cm (wind deposition common here) - Layer of concern - 10cm finger hard wind slab over 10cm Fist layer. - Layer of concern - 25cm fist hard Basal facets over a ground crust - 5cm Pencil layer over basal facets South of Nymph Lake near Chaos Creek, 12:30, 9700, Northeast - HS - 105cm (well protected from wind) - Layer of concern - 25-30cm 1F basal facets. NE of Nymph lake, "Nymph Knob", 1230, 9600, SE aspect - HS 130cm - Layer of concern - 5cm basal facets over 10cm faceted ground crust - 20cm 1F layer over basal facets Other layer of concern observed by instructors today and on a tour Wednesday included a buried near surface facet layer between 30 and 50cm down on NE-E-SE aspects, BTL and NTL.
