Weather

CLR, NO precip, Blowing Snow was L at ridge tops. Wind Light at valley floor. Air 29F at 1508. Ski Pen was 20cm and Boot Pen was the full HS.

Snowpack

In open areas ~45cm HS. Top 12cm was DF .5mm with. MFcl as the surface form in Sunny areas. Shade still had 4-5mm undecomposed stellars as the surface form. Below the top new snow layer are 2 distinct layers of FC. hardness at Fist in all but the lowest Layer. All obs were consistent with Kreston’s obs from 11/22. There were no signs of the sporadic SH seen elsewhere in the zone.

Avalanche

No visible avalanche activity from the valley floor. Lots of skier traffic on the north face of gold hill. Several Vail Patrollers skies the south face of Mayflower Hill and report thin snowpack in most areas. They did not report any signs of instability.
