Avalanche

On the descent, I skied across the top of a small convexity where an open slope meets some dense trees. I triggered a small wind slab that broke at the convexity. The crown was between 4-6 inches deep around 20 feet wide and the soft wind slab broke into powder in the debris. This was on a north-facing slope at 11,000'.
