Remote triggered a 1.5 wind slab in a exposed rocky pocket that's traditionally crossloaded/scoured. Experienced a large audibly propagating settlement when skiing onto a flat hard windslab on the ridgetop but didn't realize it triggered the steeper aspect until seeing the debris from below - the crown was over the convexity and ~20m away. Notably a ski partner was on distant mellow terrain on the windward gladed side of the ridge and said a (the same?) whumpf shook the trees beside her. We were already below the slope so didn't investigate but would speculate it was a windslab that released on base facets as it scrubbed down to the boulders in a very thin rocky pocket. SSE aspect ~1850m, ~35°. Otherwise stable conditions with no sign of the hoar frost under the storm snow when we dug on a sheltered N aspect.
