Column compression test observations on SW windward aspect at 2000m, top of treeline. HS: 295 cm Snowpack: F–1F slab to ~115 cm Test: CTH down 55cm at bottom of recent storm slab. Resistant Planar Shear. December crust found 125cm down, very hard to penetrate with probe. No reactivity observed this day from ourselves and multiple parties skiing similar aspects. Based on the storm slab thickness and reactivity in the test, we did increase our caution this day.
