Skied north and south aspects in the alpine and treeline at Shames. Conditions were ~15 cm of powder on the rain crust from the big event a few days ago. Wind along ridge tops and some small up to size 1 avalanches observed from the last couple of days, possible small wind slabs. Some wind slab (10 cm depth) in alpine and treeline in places. Lots of surface hoar growing in sheltered areas, at valley bottom, and around shames.
