Did a lap of Round Mtn and skied both the south-facing runs through the trees and north off the top of Round. The sun was warm by late morning with some snow bombs starting to fall from the trees around 10 am. We found surface hoar from 1300m up to the top (see picture) in open areas. Snow skied really well on all aspects with only a very thin sun crus starting to form on steeper features in full sun.
