Cold and windy at km 13 today. Tricky approach with not enough snow in the trees to make for easy skiing. Strong gusts coming from the south east. As we broke out of the treeline we felt plenty of whumpfing. Some recent small soft slab releases out of steep north facing terrain. Nothing stepped down to the hard slab layer of concern below.
